I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in work with prenatal and postpartum women, individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, and children and families coping with the effects of trauma and disruption. My approach to therapy is strengths-based, guiding individuals to embrace and honor themselves and I use relational and attachment based techniques to build trust, safety, and security that clients can take from our sessions into their lives and other relationships.
I grew up in Montana and have a Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Montana and a Master’s in Social Work from Walla Walla University. In my clinical work I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including Prenatal Birth and Attachment Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Bessel Van Der Kolk’s approach to Trauma Healing. I believe therapy can be beneficial to all people and having a kind, unbiased, and nonjudgmental therapist can help individuals and families find their best selves and live their best lives.
