About Waxwing Psychotherapy
Waxwing Psychotherapy, LLP is a group practice owned jointly by Leah Ore, LCSW, and Samuel Ore, LCSW. Waxwing has office space in Missoula and Polson. We offer Telehealth services across the state of Montana. We are happy to accept most insurance, including Medicaid, for both in-person and online sessions.
While we welcome any individuals, couples, and families facing mental health and relational challenges to seek our help, we specialize in working with those navigating pregnancy and postpartum, emotional problems in adolescence and young adulthood, and families seeking to decrease conflict in the home.
As mental health practitioners, we are dedicated to optimizing the process of mental health through the cultivation of relationships. Our therapeutic approach offers a partnership and a framework for managing emotions, resolving stress, and building resilience.

Samuel Ore (he, him, his), LCSW
In his work as a therapist, Sam take a person-centered approach toward helping his clients manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, addiction, personality disorders, neurodiversity, grief, and trauma. His practice is grounded in a relational model and he employs strength-based strategies to support positive change in his clients by helping them develop a better understanding of the relationships and experiences that shape their life. Sam specializes in providing EMDR therapy, a modality that focus on processing and successfully integrating traumatic experiences.
As a rural practitioner, Sam gladly serves most populations struggling with most challenges, but specializes in working with adolescents and younger adults, couples, and families. In addition to maintaining a private practice in Polson, Sam also offers online therapy and periodically teaches in the Social Work Department at the University of Montana. His academically interests center around building the capacity of mental health systems in rural areas and education in trauma processing.
In his personal life, Sam is a musician, a handyman, a husband, and a father to two young boys. He loves funk music and getting into the mountains with his family.

Leah Ore (she, her, hers), LCSW
Leah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who specializes in working with prenatal and postpartum women, individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, and those coping with the effects of trauma and disruption. Her approach to therapy is strength-based, feminist and anti-racist, guiding individuals to embrace and honor themselves. She also uses relational and attachment-based techniques to build trust, safety, and security that clients can take from their sessions into their lives and other relationships.
Leah grew up in Montana and holds a Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Montana and a Master’s in Social Work from Walla Walla University. In her clinical work, she utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Prenatal Birth and Attachment Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Bessel Van Der Kolk’s approach to Trauma Healing. She believes therapy can be beneficial to all people and that having a kind, unbiased, and nonjudgmental therapist can help individuals and families find their best selves and live their best lives.

Callie Morris (she, her, hers), SWLC
Callie is a a Social Work Licensure Canidate accepting clients looking for therapy at her Missoula office and offering telehealth for individuals across Montana. She has a trauma-focused lens as a part of her worldview and therapy practice. She has knowledge with symptoms of trauma, anxiety, dissociation, and depression.
She specializes in helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relational issues and with helping those who have experienced trauma in their lives. Callie primarily utilizes EMDR and Motivational Interviewing as well as believes in the power of having a social work background and connecting clients to resources that could help on their healing journies. She believes in the power of client agency when working with clients and tries to balance that with instilling hope, direction and support.
Callie grew up in Montana and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Studies. In her spare time she volunteers for music organizations and produces radio shows for Montana Public Radio. Callie enjoys hiking, scuba diving, playing music and spending time with family and friends.

Kora Perugini (she, they, theirs), PCLC
Kora is a Professional Counselor Licensure Candidate who is accepting couples, individuals, and teens in person in Missoula or via telehealth.
They specialize in working with couples and individuals from an attachment and emotionally focused lens. Kora takes a client-focused and curious approach. Kora believes that everyone deserves a safe, non-judgmental space where they can feel free to show up exactly as you are. Whether you are navigating a specific life challenge or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, working with Kora will give you a chance to explore what is important for you.
Kora’s practice integrates a range of treatment modalities depending on the clients needs, including trauma-informed, EFT, Narrative Theory, Feminist Theory, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, as well as LGBTQIA+ affirming care.

Claire Manny (she, her, hers), SWLC
Claire is a Social Work Licensure Candidate who accepts clients in-person in Missoula via telehealth for anyone in the state of Montana. Claire's goal is to support clients as they seek positive changes in their lives, navigate challenges, or develop skills to better manage their emotions. Whether you struggle with mood, relationships, disordered eating, body-image issues, low self-esteem, or trauma, Claire is here to offer non-judgmental support through a strengths-based, collaborative relationship. With Claire, clients can build resilience, explore feelings of shame, pursue authenticity, develop sustainable motivation for change, and strive for connection. Her practice integrates a range of treatment modalities depending on clients' presenting needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Feminist Theory, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, as well as LGBTQIA affirming care.
