Dani Standley (she, her, hers), LAC
Hey I’m Dani, a Montana born and raised Licensed Addiction Counselor and current student of clinical mental health counseling at the University of Montana. I come to this work with a commitment to coming alongside other humans as they learn how to create healthier relationships to substances, to the important people in their lives, and to themselves. My work is done through a relational-cultural theoretical lens and focuses on creating a safe and rich therapeutic relationship. From there we will work together toward building mindfulness, skillfulness, and intentional beliefs around substance use, reactions to life circumstances and relationship with the inner-self. I believe in taking a holistic approach to helping my clients heal and to create the life they want for themselves. I’m passionate about our human ability to heal through safe relationship, playfulness, vulnerability and community and am experienced in offering psychoeducation and workshops to clients and providers alike.
In my personal life, I try to practice what I preach and spend the majority of my time nurturing my relationships with my incredible friends and family, and larger community. I love to have my hands in the dirt, to cook and eat delicious food, and to focus on the things that really matter with my closest people.

Patrick Schuler (He, Him, His), LCSW, LAC
My counseling experiences over the years have been incredibly enriching and meaningful. I am continually moved by the varying degrees of challenging life experiences that we are all tasked with navigating and the ways we attempt to cope, gain insight from, and hopefully transform our adverse circumstances. I’ve had the opportunity to assist a diverse range of clients in both inpatient treatment and outpatient therapy settings. Within these programs I’ve helped clients address anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, academic challenges, relationships, identity changes, sexuality, and general life stressors.
My areas of specialty are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Systems Theory. I’m also a Licensed Addiction Counselor; this practice has provided me the opportunity to work with individuals struggling with substance abuse, ranging from inpatient treatment, to people who are just starting to question their substance use patterns. I believe deeply in the importance of developing a collaborative relationship with clients. Relationships built upon trust and respect are vital in working together to identify areas of concern, hone specific skills and achieve goals that are rooted in practical application.
